Part of the benefit of a site like this is to keep people with similar interests in touch. I've always hoped that 'Welcome to Plakias' would encourage the sharing of information, and building friendships.

Regular visitors to Plakias can keep in touch with others or pass on news, details of good (or bad) places they found while they were there etc. Those thinking of going for the first time might want to post a question which might help them make up their mind.

I hope there is plenty of information on other parts of the site - but if it's not there, please post a message for others to share. Barny, another regular, suggested that I add a bulletin board to the site, and it seems to be working well.

This is my fourth attempt, at getting a board going. I previously used free third party providers, none of which were totally satisfactory. Since moving the whole site to a new server, I have been able to introduce a much more functional board, which I hope will help to further build the Plakias community. Apologies to those who posted on the old sites, who have lost their messages and responses. I hope you will re-post any hot topics, so that we can get some interesting discussions going.
